Biometric Notice

Recognito may use face recognition to assist attendance marking at events. The goal is faster and more accurate check-in with human review available.

What may be processed

Enrolment photos, onsite face crops, provider face IDs, match confidence scores, station timestamps, and operator review decisions.

Purpose

Face data is used for event attendance workflows only: enrolment, suggested matches, confirmation, correction, rejection, and support troubleshooting.

Manual alternative

Attendees should be able to use manual check-in if face recognition is unavailable, unsuitable, or not desired.

Limits

Recognito should not use face recognition data for unrelated profiling, advertising, or general surveillance.
